Beautiful Stairs. Thoughtfully Crafted.

Hardwood stairs bring warmth, character, and timeless beauty to one of the most visible features of your home. Our custom stair installations are crafted with the same attention to detail as our flooring, creating a seamless transition that connects the levels of your home.

A staircase is more than a way to move between floors—it’s an important part of the character and design of your home. Pryor Floor creates custom hardwood stairs that complement your flooring and bring a cohesive, finished look to your space.

From replacing existing stair treads to creating a completely new staircase, we work with quality materials and thoughtful craftsmanship to create stairs that are designed to look beautiful and feel right in your home.

Our Process

1. Complimentary In-Home Estimate & Stair Planning
Every staircase is different, so we start by taking detailed measurements and assessing the existing structure. We’ll discuss the desired layout, materials, and finish during the estimate and develop a plan that fits your home and the finished look you want to achieve.

2. Custom Fabrication & Preparation
Once the details are finalized, we carefully prepare and customize each stair component to fit your staircase. Treads, risers, and other components are precisely measured and cut to provide a proper fit and a cohesive finished appearance.

3. Professional Installation
Our craftsmen install the unfinished stair components with careful attention to fit, alignment, and detail. Installing the raw wood allows us to properly fit each component and prepare the staircase for the on-site sanding and finishing process.

4. Site Sanding & Finishing
Once the stairs are installed, we sand and finish them on site to create a smooth, consistent surface and bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The final stain and finish are applied to complement your flooring and create a seamless look throughout your home.

From raw wood to a beautifully finished staircase, Pryor Floor creates custom stairs that bring every level of your home together.
