Our Process

1. Complimentary In-Home Estimate
We begin with a complimentary in-home evaluation to assess the condition of your floors and determine whether a maintenance coat is appropriate. A maintenance coat refreshes and protects the existing finish but will not address color variations, deep scratches, dents, or other damage that extends beyond the finish layer.

2. Floor Evaluation & Test Spots
Before applying the maintenance coat, our technician evaluates the existing finish and applies test spots to confirm proper adhesion. Certain finishes, cleaning products, waxes, oils, or other contaminants on the floor can prevent a new coat from bonding properly. Testing helps us identify potential issues before the entire floor is coated.

3. Floor Preparation
The floor is thoroughly cleaned and lightly screened to prepare the existing finish for a new coat. Screening creates a properly prepared surface for the new finish to bond to while removing minor surface imperfections and everyday wear. The floor is then carefully cleaned to remove dust and debris before coating.
